The Year 2003 saw further expansion in the Group’s Shipping Agency Division when Global Freight Semesta was appointed as the sub agents of CMA-CGM-ANL Indonesia in the city of Bandung – a major Asian hub for Garments & Textile manufacturing.

CMA-CGM-ANL is a French Worldwide Container shipping line currently ranked as number three in the world. The carrier operates a modern fleet of about 195 vessels on over 76 major shipping routes. It also has 75 new vessels on order for delivery between Year 2005 and Year 2008.

In Year 2004, the carrier transported 3.9 million TEUS (Twenty Feet Equivalent Unit) with total revenue of over 4 billion euros. With more than 216 ports of call in 126 countries and 417 agencies around the world ( including 54 in China ), CMA-CGM-ANL has a strong worldwide network offering one of the largest scope of origins and destinations to its customers. Further, the 9,000 CMA-CGM-ANL staff members around the world ( of which 3,300 are in France ) shows recognized know-how and high motivation.
